If you were to ask Leslie’s clients what they value most about her, you would hear words like responsive, caring, follow through, kind, and problem solver. Building on a work ethic instilled by her parents, Leslie has always felt a drive to be the best she can be. “I still have a letter my father had written me many years ago while I was in college. He said ‘Believe in God and trust Him throughout your life. Work hard in school and at work. Work hard at keeping good relationships with friends, family, and God. Don’t expect others to work at those things as hard as you do, or you may end up very disappointed. Don’t let that change how you are or how you treat people you encounter in everyday life.’ My dad may no longer be with us, but his philosophy on life lives on through me.”

After earning a BA in Accounting from the University of South Florida, Leslie was drawn to a field that she loves and a culture she thrives in with Weber CPA. She says her goal is to simply give each client the care they deserve, and the best work she can deliver - no matter the size of the client. “Having the ability to go beyond the work and to ask clients how they are doing, to see pictures of their families, and to share pictures of my son makes the job so rewarding and fulfilling. To be able to make a connection with a client allows us to be so much more effective in helping them.”

When she isn’t working, you’ll find Leslie exploring the Tampa Bay area with her boyfriend, Tracey, and going to Rays and Lightning games. She and her son William (or “Bubby” as his grandmother likes to call him) love going to the park with their chihuahua, Diego. She also enjoys spending time with her mother and brothers’ families, who thankfully all still live in the area.
